About US
| Founder: The company, finSage Inc., was founded by Ray Sant. Ray has a PhD in finance and is also a CFA charterholder. He also has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering as well as an MBA in finance and marketing. Ray has over 25 years' experience in finance including CFA education, investment banking, consulting, research and university teaching at MBA and undergraduate levels. He has taught at several universities in the US, and was a tenured professor in Minnesota before founding the company. Ray currently teaches finance as a full-time faculty in the evening MBA program at the St. Edwards University, Austin, TX. Courses taught: Corporate and Managerial Finance, Financial Statement Analysis, Investments, Global Finance, Bond Portfolio Management, and Derivatives. |  |
Experience: Ray has delivered CFA review seminars worldwide including USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. Until recently he was associated with a leading provider of CFA review products and seminars as a senior vice-president. He has conducted many CFA review seminars for blue chip names in the investment banking industry in New York. In the past Ray has also worked for ANZ (Grindlays) Bank as a merchant banker, and Ernst & Young, LLP as a valuation expert and handled domestic and international transactions running into billions of dollars. His consulting clients included: major oil companies, oil service companies, publishing, high-technology computer and internet based companies, staffing, utility, chemical, manufacturing, distribution and retail companies. He has also consulted for asset-backed securitizations.
